Scarf + Wash cloth

I finally finished the my so called scarf. I think I started this project in Jan or Feb of this year. I decided to give this scarf to a friend of mine because she can tolerate wool around the neck better than I can. I also thought of her for the scarf because it is knit out of Manos del Uruguay and she really likes things like that (helping others, volunteering, giving back to communities). And by really like I mean it is her life.

I also included a wash cloth which I started on Saturday and finished yesterday. I knitted the basket weave one (it's the first one). I could have finished it faster if I had worked on it more. I estimate that the total time spent on the wash cloth to be 4-5 hours. I put her initials on it.

In other knitting news, I took Wicked off of the needles and tried it on again. I now feel (mostly) confident with how to proceed with it. I don't think I am going to add in an increases for my hips, except maybe a few, like only 2-3 rounds, maybe 5 tops. The arms seem to fit well, so that is good. I pretty much like how it looks and fit so far. I hope to finish it sometime in the next couple of weeks. It is still off the needles, but I will put it back on tomorrow and knit away.
