The Loot

My mom is the best mom ever. She is also crazy ;O) She recently sent me an awesome package consisting of a knitter's dream. First up we have a picture of the goodies overflowing from the box which they were packed in.


What's that inside that white bag there? Oh, it's a nice stash of yarn to add to my already growing yarn stash.
On the right is some elsebeth lavold Silky Tweed: 40% silk 30% cotton 20% merino extra fine 10% viscose, 131 yd, colors: 03, 02, 08
On the left is Cascade Yarns Sierra Quatro: 80% pima cotton 20% wool, 191 yr, colors 96 & ?? (no color number is on the yellow skein).
ooh ahh. Finally, I've arranged the bags and other knick knacks. Three awesome bags, 2 smaller Lexie Barnes bags, Knitting Rules book, and needle point stoppers (they are super cute bears!!!).
She has also managed to guilt me into learning to knit socks. I think socks could be fun....though I did come across a "10 reasons not to knit socks" in the Knitting Rules books.
