Who got a ball winder??

I did! Wow. I don't know how I got along without one of these things before. I should have taken some pictures of the skeins before they became balls. Two were already make ship wound up, one was relatively easy to redo and the other was a major pain in the butt. Anyhow, on to the pics! Three pictures might be over kill, but here they are nonetheless.

The yarn is Wakashan from Knit Picks. I got it on super sale back in the fall. The black is Graphite and the pink is Wild Rose. Recommended needles #6-9. It is 100% Baby Alpaca and 73 yards per ball. I think when I originally got it I bought enough that would cover the amount needed for a scarf. At 219 yards per color, I'm not sure what I am going to do with anymore.

Right now I think that the black is going to be made into a hat for Stephen. I don't know if it's enough yarn for the kind of hat he wants. Basically it needs to be enough yarn to make a fold over brim. As Stephen pointed out to me with his current hat "see, I like it to fold over for double warmth over the ears."

I should make a list of the yarn that I have right now. It's not too much, but it might be good to have a list of it somewhere.
