And the saga of the wristers continues. I want to say that this project has been a labor of love, but I'm not even sure I would go so far as to say that. I first cast on for these by casting on 45 stitches as per the pattern. I had some suspicions that this would create a wrister that was too big for my hand. And as it turns out, I was right! Ha! They were at least 1 to 2 inches too big, width wise. I then decided to follow the pattern for the other version (not necessarily the smaller verson, but the pattern written for the bigger needles and the 8 ply yarn - I have the 6 ply). Well, casting on 36 stitches and 2 movies later I had my second wrister and one that actually fit. Sadly I ripped out and re-wound the gigantic one and have started it again by casting on 36 stitches. Originally I was going to cast on 39 stitches to see the difference in the fit, but I decided tonight that I don't think it's worth the time since it would require re-knitting one of the wristers again.
A picture of it on my hand.....not cut from the ball since I might ripped back and add a little more length to it.
Here is what I dislike about the glove (bad picture and all) and might cause me to re-knit it. I am going to try something different on the one that I currently knitting where I don't have to purl as the first stitch since my purls are apparently very loose when joining in the round. It doesn't look too bad when this part is worn on the inside instead of the outside of the hand.
